Amidst the Coronavirus Outbreak, India witnessed pandemic bangs approximately at 5 PM yesterday. A curfew was implemented to test the control of the Coronavirus Outbreak on Sunday, 22nd March. Hence, people decide to show their respect and gratitude by clapping and banging utensils.
People under lockdown came out to their balconies and terraces with utensils to show utmost gratitude. The movement was for the services to control the Coronavirus.
On the other hand, Ram Nath Kovind, the President, joined the movement. It was to show respect for the emergency personnel as well as the front line workers. Additionally, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, BS Yediyurappa along with his family joined the movement to show gratitude.
Even the speaker of Lok Sabha, Om Birla, and his entire family were apart of the movement and took part to bang utensils as a way of expressing respect for the workers.
In Guntur District, the Cheif Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy included himself as well as family to be apart of this remarkable movement. Even the residents of Kolkata made themselves a part of it.
That being said, even profound faces like Amitabh Bacchan and his family clapped their hands to show respect for the control measures taken by the medical practitioners. In Nagpur, Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of India joined the pandemic bangs from their balconies to pay heeds.
Lastly, the Chief Minister of Telangana and Odisha, K.Chandrashekar Rao and Naveen Patnaik rang bells and clang utensils with their family members.
